There is no cover charge and only a $10 food or drink minimum. Two hours of valet parking is only $3 and each additional hours are $3, so it's easy to invite all your friends, family and fans, as well as managers, agents, casting directors, to see you perform in this professional setting with other cabaret singers and their guests as well. There is an incredible new sound system as well as a brand new ebony baby grand piano. And extraordinary, well-priced food is always a welcome surprise.
GUEST STARS are accompnied by award-winning musical director, RON SNYDER with LES MICHAELS as host and MC. The "GUEST STARS" shows begin at 8 PM and you'll share the bill with three other professional singers. We then open up the stage to all the wonderful singers and visiting celebrities who come to cheer on their friends with Open Mic from 9:30 to 11 PM.
You will need to bring your sheet music in your key for the four songs you plan to perform and a back up in case someone else is doing one of yours. They need to be clear copies in a three ring binder with your name on the outside. Select songs that you have perfected, a good mix is two ballads and two uptempo. Jazz, standards, musical theater, light pop are best. Including patter, your set should be no longer than 15 minutes.
Our GUEST STARS are not paid for their performances, (nor do they have to pay to be in the show - like some other you may know of) however, you'll find the experience invaluable, and reap many rewards from being part of the best showcase of it's kind, running since August 2003. And a reputation that speaks for itself and the press notices to match.

We are also found every Monday night at VERMONT at 1714 N. Vermont Ave. in Hollywood. Sign up starts at 8:15 and the show at 9 PM. Be sure to bring your sheet music and your friends. $5 cover & one drink minimum along with excellent food.
